3 ways to do a special TGIF

Before we delve into the TGIF, lets’ clear some points.

Saying thanks implies a heartfelt appreciation for the things achieved through the week. Even if you don’t see anything to be grateful for, think deeper and you will see something to be thankful for. When you search, you will find, it could be a simple fact of your being employed, being strong to go to work, being reasonable enough to be able to keep a job. You may not have hit it big or things may not have gone the way you planned or you may not achieved all set target for the week. Just bask in the sunshine of being grateful for the week.

Secondly, TGIF does not mean you will not work on Saturday, it only means that Friday is a day to cool off from the hustle of the week.

Thirdly, you  do not have to load your system with toxins like excessive drinking or feeding fat on junk.

The way

1- Choose a special menu you like or something out of your normal routine. For me I use cake to drink my coffee instead of my normal biscuit.

“objects are made sacred by our thoughts and conduct”-old quote

Feel the appreciation in your mind then offer a special prayer for the menu.

If you like Egusi soap then you can make yourself one.

2- You can call and appreciate one or more people whose effort created impact on you or made your work easier. Make them feel good for their effort, you even be surprised they did not know the impact of their work on you.

3- In appreciation for the success, you can give alms to those in need. It does not have to be a far fetched person, you can start with the people around you or your loved ones.

TGIF also offers you the privilege to sit out and socialise with associates or friends if you are a workaholic. Create it….you just have to because if you die in the process another person will replace you and work goes on. So be gentle with yourself.
