John was an incredible analyst on energy issues, hilarious to a fault, and a bona fide genius. To say that our team is shocked and mourning today is a wild understatement. There’s a huge hole in our collective heart. Bewildered is the word of the day around here.” Glen Hooks says “Much love to John’s wife, Ginny, his family and friends, and his beloved co-workers at Sierra Club. Losing John is utterly beyond words for all of us. Jeebus.”
