A couple of thoughts about Nate Toran, arguably the best D-lineman in Rutgers history, on his passing. He was everything a program would want: a game-changer on the field, a great ambassador off of it. He was Dwight Freeney before anyone knew that body type could dominate at DE.

RIP Nate Toran, one the greatest players in Rutgers football history. He dominated with athleticism and speed from his DE spot. You can easily make a case for him as the best D-lineman in program history. Perth Amboy should name a football field after him.
