Tom Searle Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Tom Searle.
Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
I have found it very hard to articulate my thoughts and put them into words following Tom Searle’s passing, because there are so many who knew him much better and for far longer! However for 14 years, and after a whirlwind, unforgettable “get to know the team” trip to the Cairns Amateurs in 2006, Tom Searle quickly claimed a place on the top shelf in regards to quality men and good people. He was simply brilliant, as was Michael, when my own father became sick and passed, providing support, encouragement, an ear and occasionally a stern Tom word which you absolutely took notice of. Forget his amazing contributions to sport and in particular rugby league, Tom will be missed more because he was a terrific human. My thoughts are with the entire family during the saddest of times. Rest in peace
A piece of history lost with the passing of Tom Searle. I’m embarrassed to say the first few times I met Tommy I had no idea how much he had accomplished. And that’s because he always had time for anybody and never carried an air of pretension. A real gentleman, a wealth of knowledge and a treasure not just to the sport, but the wider community. RIP
