Mary Beth McKee missing – 57 year-old North Carolina woman found after public safety alert issued.
NORTH CAROLINA, US State – Mary Beth McKee, 57-year-old was reported missing from Watauga and the police in the area issued an Alert to help find her. She was reportedly seen last on Wednesday, 17th of November 2021 hiking in the area of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Her worried family reported her missing after she failed to return home as expected. She is a resident of Watauga County.
Report reaching insideeko states that the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office began searching for her after she was reported missing. An extensive search was carried out all through the night for McKee in the area where she was last seen. The search was halted and was to resume the morning after.
Shockingly, at about 7:41 am the morning of Friday, November 19th, 2021 just when the search was to resume, McKee showed up at home unharmed. A news release by Major Kelly Redmon of the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office states that she showed bearly 10 minutes after they issued out a public safety alert to help find her.
The circumstances that surrounded her disappearance have not been given. The police thanked all who helped shared and confirmed that she is now with her family.
