We have learned today with great sadness of the death of Dame Ingrid Roscoe, DCVO, FSA, Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire from 2004 – 2018. I can do no better than quote the words of her successor, Mr Ed Anderson: ‘(Dame Ingrid) served West Yorkshire as its Lord-Lieutenant with love, energy and devotion over 14 years. She will be very sadly missed by many many people across the County’. May Ingrid rest in peace and rise in glory. Dean Simon
