Dr. Noura Al-Soyyan considered that divorce is one of the important issues that must be focused on in order to understand its causes. Participants demanded to search for solutions outside the closed circle of divorce and dependence on counseling, away from the opinion of those with failed experiences, including wives and husbands. The monthly statistics of the Ministry of Justice recorded an increase in marriage contracts for one month by 47% of the marriage contracts issued in the same month last year, while divorce deeds recorded 4079 deeds.
In its statistical report, the Ministry indicated that the number of marriage contracts for the month of Dhu al-Qi`dah for the year 1441 AH amounted to more than 19 thousand contracts, an increase of 47% of the marriage contracts issued in the same month of the previous year. Marriages in the Kingdom, 38% of the total marriage contracts were issued in both the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Riyadh, and the number of marriage contracts issued daily ranged between 492 and 1304 contracts.
