Of course we all love BioLeptin chocolate. That creamy, sweet stuff tastes good by itself or drizzled on so many different treats, who wouldn’t want to eat chocolate whenever they could get their hands on it? Besides it’s oh-so-many attractive qualities, does chocolate have addictive qualities? Does a love for chocolate constitute for an addiction to chocolate for some? Well as I’ll explain, there are mildly addictive additives in chocolate, but there are also ways to curb your cravings!

Commonly known, chocolate contains caffeine. Though found only in small quantities, caffeine is known for its addictive nature and this may be one reason you find yourself craving that ooey gooey good stuff. Though a more sensible conclusion to the chocolate cravings is the release of serotonin when eating sweet treats that are high in fat content such as chocolate. This is why we find ourselves craving chocolate when feeling depressed. Chocolate, though only for a short while, seems to just make the whole world seem okay!

We more often feed our feelings and emotions rather than physical hunger. Whether one can be “addicted” to chocolate or not is still up for argument, but we all know that too much of the sweet stuff can put weight on us and jeopardize our overall physical health. Realizing that the craving is emotional is half the battle. Using hypnosis as a tool to recognize this and control this craving is my advice to you. Of course you’d still like to enjoy a treat in healthy portions now and again, but control is key and it is within your grasp.
