A news we still can’t accept: painter Emil Ciocoiu, old collaborator of the Representative, great artist and generous friend, has stopped living. His art, true ode to joy, has given us the opportunity of many successful cultural projects, including during the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council. Proud to collaborate artisticly, we were lucky to enjoy, first of all, his extraordinary, bright and warm human presence.
Sad and amazed, we send our deepest condolences to the hard-tried family, together with whom we are in our thoughts.

It is with unspoken sadness that I learned the incredible news of the extinguishing of the great painter and friend Emil Ciocoiu. A perfect artist, cherished by the art criticism and loved by the public, Emil Ciocoiu was, first of all, a man of great delicacy, a noble and generous spirit, a tireless explorer of light – not only in his art, but also in his art your own life. I will never forget her warm presence nor the artistic ardor placed in the cultural projects we have conducted together – always successful.
