Saturday my long time friend and coworker received the most devastating news any parent could hear. Her youngest daughter, Morgan, who had such a bright smile and beautiful soul with her compassion, love, and nurturing for animals and others had been killed along with 2 of her friends. We are all so very heartbroken for Krista and her family, as well as the families of the two young men. If you could give anything to help the families during this difficult time it would be greatly appreciated.
i have felt a lot of emotions over the past few days. i was in shock, sad and angry as i imagine a lot of others have been feeling the same way. a million and one questions have run through my head. but i found myself continuing to look through pictures of morgan and thinking back on some of our unforgettable memories.
from dancing and performing the entire high school musical routine in 3rd grade, walking around Gridley, sitting on the trampoline prank calling boys, “modeling” for the store Justice, sleepovers with an endless amount of laughs, devouring her jacks pizza that she always added extra cheese to, making some pretty dumb decisions but also some level headed ones, homecomings, a spontaneous country concert, saying goodbye before moving away for college, to visiting each other sharing our crazy first year stories.
Morgan Ryder was a solid friend to everyone no matter what. she never had a bad word to say about anyone. she was a genuine person. no amount of words can take away the pain from those that love her. but i pray every second for comfort and peace to family and friends. morgan was truly an amazing girl who had a lot to give to those around her. she was the life of the party. i have no doubt in my mind that she makes an absolutely beautiful range
