REST IN PEACE: 1st Sergeant Ernest G. Micka died last week. He was 102 years old, had served in World War II, and had been on many Honor Flights.
“The hardest was the beginning,” Micka once told WDRB of his time in World War II. “None of us experienced anything like what we were going to go into, and it was rough … tough.”
