Jared Schmitz Obituary
Yesterday, Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz of Wentzville, Missouri was killed in a terrorist attack on Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan while working to screen and evacuate American citizens and our allies.

What Happened To Jared Schmitz
Jared Schmitz, (bottom middle) 20 years old,(whose photo is not available at this time) hailed from St. Charles Country in the state of Missouri and had obtained the rank of Lance Corporal with the Marines.
Maxton Soviak, (top left) 22 years old, from Berlin Heights, Ohio. He was a Navy medic who had previously worked as a lifeguard and a technician.
Kareem Nikoui, bottom left, is a Marine from the state of California. Nikolai came to Afghanistan from Camp Pendleton.
David Lee Espinoza (top middle), 20 years old, is a Marine Corps member hailing from the border town of Laredo Texas. Espinoza leaves a step-father, mother, and brother behind.
Rylee McCollum, (far right) a Marine born and raised in Bondurant, Wyoming. McCollum was tragically deployed for the first time and leaves behind a baby three weeks away from being born.
