He died unexpectedly leaving family members, loved ones and friends in great grief and fear.

Kurt Tanner was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Tatum and Emery Tanner; his fiancé Jordan Phillips; his sister Brittany Moore (Brett); his grandparents, Alfred, Valerie Tanner, Otto, Penneye Buesking, Karla Tanner and Sondra Gray; his nieces and nephews, Bronx, Brody and Briggs; and his godchild Bronx. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, close relatives, and many dear friends.

Kurt was known to be very kind and will be deeply missed, however his impact and legacy will carry on for generations to come through his family and the numerous lives he has touched.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, South County Chapel (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Homes (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129).
