Frank Ramirez Car Accident – Cause of Death : 29-year-old Independence County Patrol Deputy, Frank Ramirez, of Batesville has died has lost his life in a solo-car accident while on duty around 12:50 a.m. on Thursday morning, November 18, 2021 in Independence County, Arkansas
According to the Arkansas State Police, Ramirez was operating a 2018 Dodge Charger eastbound on Highway 14 when he lost control of the car will negotiate a curve, existed the roadway and struck a culvert on the driver’s side. The impact caused the car to go airborne and flipped over on its roof. He sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.
His death was made known via a Facebook post made by the Independence County Sheriffs Department ” Hero Down. We are devastated to report that Patrol Deputy Frank Ramirez #121 was killed in the line of duty early this morning. Patrol Deputy Ramirez was involved in a one vehicle accident and succumbed to his injuries.
Ramirez was married with two young children. This is a time of tremendous grief for our agency, his family, and our communities.
Pray for Ramirez’s family blood and blue, our community, and our department!”
Another Facebook post made by Robert Griffin said flag has been lowered in his honor. “Our prayers go out to the family of Deputy Frank Ramirez and the employees of the Independence County Sheriff’s Office on the tragic event that took his life in the line of duty earlier in a traffic accident. Officer Ramirez is the first County employee to die in the line of duty to be honored by lowering this flag to half staff. God please comfort the loved ones of our fallen officer”.
