Yesterday, the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards turned into a sea of black dresses, in a gesture by Hollywood stars to show their solidarity with the victims of harassment inside and outside the entertainment industry in America.

The Golden Globe carpet was covered in black, as a form of “silent sit-in”, at the invitation of the veteran actress Meryl Streep, who led an extensive campaign to denounce the harassment crimes against dozens of Hollywood stars at the hands of the American producer “Harvey Johnston”.

More than 70 women have made allegations against producer and film director Harvey Weinstein.

The list of those accused of harassment extended to include big names such as star Dustin Hoffman, comedian Louis CK, actor Jeffrey Tambor and dozens of celebrities, politicians and businessmen.

It is noteworthy that the "Golden Globe" event is the first event in the field of American entertainment to be held after the sexual harassment scandals against women that pursued a number of Hollywood celebrities.
