France coach Didier Deschamps achieved a global personal achievement, after becoming the third coach in history to win the World Cup as a player and coach, after leading his country to the second world title at the expense of Croatia.

Deschamps, captain of the French national team, was crowned France's first title in the 1998 edition after defeating Brazil with a historic triple, the Brazilian Zagallo and the German Beckenbauer, as the first crowned the World Cup twice as a player in 1958 in Sweden and 1962 in Chile, and succeeded in crowning him as a coach in 1970 in Mexico as well as in the 1994 edition. In the United States of America as an assistant coach to be the owner of a historic quadruple, and the German star Beckenbauer was crowned the World Cup as a player in 1974 and a coach in 1990, in Italy at the expense of the Argentine national team.
