The fashion house of Chanel transformed an exhibition hall into a picturesque beach for the presentation of its Spring-Summer 2019 collection. Dressed in the house's latest tweed sweater designs, models walked barefoot through the sand and waves.
The house turned the Grand Ballet showroom in Paris into a magical beach, and security personnel wore beach guard uniforms, while the models wore sleeveless dresses, some with coral patterns and colorful skirts. It was dominated by lemon yellow, pink, white and blue, while the models wore traditional straw hats with innovative designs, and the necks of the models were decorated with accessories bearing the name and logo of the house.
One of Chanel's biggest designers, Karl Lagerfeld, who is in his 80s, appeared at the end of the show wearing a black jacket to greet the audience from a log cabin, with singer Pharrell Williams and actress Pamela Anderson in the front row.
