As we enter the final year in the life of current generation consoles, gamers can't wait and get excited for what PlayStation has in store

And our Xbox in the next generation devices. Luckily, we're promised plenty of great games all year long leading up to the hardware release this holiday season.

Although there are many games scheduled for release in 2020, no official release date has yet been set for them. And if we look at the schedule of games released this year, we will find

That April has the lion's share among other months. The beautiful coincidence is that these games encountered problems in the development process and were postponed more than once to finish them

end in the same month. It is good to postpone the PlayStation exclusivity, The Last of us part 2, on May 29, otherwise April will be very heavy on the players’ wallets.

Cyberpunk 2077

Developed by CD Projekt RED, CyberPunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of the year and is scheduled to be released on April 16 after a long wait from the studio's fans. It was revealed for the first time in 2012 and went through difficult stages in the development process because the studio was developing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at the same time, which forced developers to postpone it and focus the studio on completing the development of The Witcher 3 scheduled for release in 2015, before Getting started in CyberPunk 2077.

Resident Evil 3 Remake

And in a wave of remakes of classic games, the third part of the most famous horror series, Resident Evil 3 Remake, awaits us on April 3. After the overwhelming success of Remake Part Two, Capcom decided to redevelop the third part using its new RE Engine, which was credited with the success of Part Two by providing realistic graphics and stable performance. According to rumors, there may be a remake of the Dino Crisis series, as Capcom has registered a trademark for the game with a group of other titles, indicating that it intends to re-release it, especially with their good record in re-developing the Resident Evil series. On the other hand, it may be just a legal procedure that does not necessarily mean that it will be re-issued. Dino Crisis was one of the icons of survival horror games in the 90s, but it could not continue as the last installment in the series was released on Xbox in 2003 and received low ratings.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

And the PlayStation classic comes as one of the most anticipated games when Square Enix decided to remake one of the best PlayStation 1 games with all-new graphics, Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The Remake announcement was a dream for game lovers and received a wide echo among players as it was the first game to be announced for its redevelopment for current-generation devices, paving the way for other classics. And CyberPunk 2077 wasn't the only one to suffer delays. FF7 Remake went through the same hurdles as it was announced in 2015, and then appeared in a new trailer last year. It was originally scheduled to be released on March 3, but has been pushed back to April 10.
