The Royal Commission for Yanbu Governorate finally closed the curtain on the activities of the second season of the historic Winter at Tantora, in its second edition, which started on December 19 and lasted until March 7, after presenting a distinguished set of activities that celebrate the local and international historical and cultural heritage.

The season was a great success, as the number of visitors reached 414 thousand visitors from the Kingdom and a number of countries of the world. While Al-Ula Airport witnessed an increase in the number of flights to 717 flights, during which the number of passengers increased by 36% compared to the first season, which contributed to the delivery of the festival’s echoes to all parts of the world, and acted as a link between East and West, as its activities breathed life again into the picturesque nature. And the ancient history of the province, to put Saudi Arabia on the list of global tourism.

During the festival, Al-Ula shone on the global cultural map and contributed to the development of the local community by providing a large number of jobs for the sons and daughters of Al-Ula, as many of them participated in the success of the events and activities by working closely with the community and understanding their heritage and ancient history.
