guest of the other half

Today, as our beloved Kingdom celebrates its National Day, the “The Other Half” page had the honor of meeting Her Highness Princess Al-Jawhara Bint Saud Al-Kabeer, where we talked with Her Highness about her feelings on this day:

Your Highness.. By virtue of the long experience that you have gone through, your Highness must have a special vision of the role of women in our country so that she can give more work and activity for the advancement of this dear land on which she lives?

•• The Saudi woman has played her role to the fullest, and she has lived with the Saudi woman and noticed that she is active in her home, preserving her prayers. An exemplary wife.. a mother.. and an educator.. In my opinion, studies are not a measure of a woman's advancement, as studies have no value without religion.. The most important thing for a woman is to preserve her religion and traditions, whether she obtains the highest academic degrees or is illiterate and cannot read or write .

• Dar al-Tarbiyyah is one of the important achievements in the life of the women of this society, in which education is taught. Are there new projects for Your Highness to push and give more for the Saudi girl?

•• I am in fact in favor of girls' education; Because the girl must be educated in order to know the matters of her religion, and the education of the girl in our country is moving at a steady and successful pace, and we thank God for this great renaissance.

• I would like to know Your Highness's opinion on the role of charities and their activities?

•• In fact, women's associations have so far not performed their role properly..and have not achieved the goal for which they were established, although our wise government has not failed in performing its duty..but the failure stems from those in charge of it.

• What are your Highness's feelings on the occasion of the National Day of our dear Kingdom?

•• My feelings are the feelings of a person who is loyal to his country and his religion.. Our country is now considered the most secure and stable country in its religion.. On the National Day, I prostrate to God, thanking Him for having come to us and we are still living in the goodness of our King and our honorable family.

• Finally, what are Your Highness's wishes for Saudi women?

•• I wish Saudi women to be the most prestigious woman in the world, and they will not be the most prestigious unless they preserve their religion and traditions.
