Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Member of the Council of Ministers Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir received, at the ministry's office in Riyadh yesterday, Minister of State for Regional Cooperation of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Tharaka, Syria, accompanied by Sri Lankan Minister of State for Foreign Employment and Market Diversification Payankara Jayaratne.
During the reception, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the existing partnership areas in various fields, in addition to discussing prospects for bilateral cooperation and opportunities for its development in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The two sides also discussed developments in the regional and international situation and the efforts exerted in this regard, in addition to exchanging views on a number of topics and issues of common concern.
