Al-Arabiya channel celebrated, this evening (Monday), the 20th anniversary of its founding, and announced on this occasion the launch of its “Al-Arabiya FM” radio station.

During the ceremony that was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh, Walid bin Ibrahim Al Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the MBC Group, reviewed the march of "Al-Arabiya" over the past two decades, stressing the channel's endeavor to redouble efforts to be up to new challenges, and in line with the Kingdom's developmental leap and its pivotal position.

He emphasized that the project to launch Al-Arabiya channel is a Saudi national project after the emergence of foreign Arabic-speaking channels, which operate according to certain agendas, and were taking negative aspects towards the Kingdom and the Gulf, indicating that the Saudi voice of moderation must remain present in front of the false media, as Al-Arabiya went steadily. She confidently defended her right to attack from the outside media.

For his part, the director of Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channel, Mamdouh Al-Muhaini, said, "Al-Arabiya entered the political and media scene, and made a major shift during that, and its journalistic cadres were able to absorb the changes over the years," pointing out that "Al-Arabiya" was determined from the beginning to move towards the future with its variables, new transformations, and alignment. with her.
