One of the Ramadan TV programs that heralds its beginning with content and a proposition worth following is the “Story of Promise” program on mbc channel, whose interest seems to be focused on presenting the great positive change that occurred in the thinking of the country’s administration, and the careful planning, dynamism and speed with which its projects are implemented, especially Major qualitative projects, as well as follow-up, governance, adherence to performance indicators, transparency and accountability for officials, so that only the capable, creative, innovative and creative person will continue in his position. As for the one who still thinks and works with the mentality of the past and its bureaucracy, this is not his time, and this stage is not his stage.

In its second episode, the program discussed an important file permeated with complications, confusion, sagging and lack of clarity of vision, which is the housing file. The program hosted two ministers who attended discussions of this file with His Highness the Crown Prince during the term of a former housing minister. The two ministers mention that that minister made an offer in a meeting with the crown prince; Who wanted a new, practical vision to overcome the ongoing problems in the housing file, but the competent minister was not successful in his presentation, handling, and proposals to treat the chronic file, and on the evening of the same day, the minister was exempted.

In this context, more than one minister has indicated in his public or private conversations the importance of being fully prepared for what is required of him in the meetings of the Crown Prince. Because he scrutinizes every detail, discusses all aspects of any subject, and evaluates performance according to practical achievement indicators within the prescribed period, and there is no room for courtesy or leniency when a mistake or omission is repeated. One of them said: You may enter the meeting and you are not sure of your continuation in your position after it ends.

What we would like to point out is that senior executive positions are no longer ceremonial, and whoever occupies them no longer manages matters as he pleases, away from follow-up and accountability. The position is no longer prestige and privileges, but rather a huge responsibility that requires competence and mastery of achievements at the specified time according to the programs and objectives of the National Vision. Officials are now under a microscope and on a hot plate. Whoever proves his worth in the stage and its requirements will continue, and whoever cannot, will leave. The country is full of competencies, and the visionary engineer has no time to waste. Pay attention to this new reality, Your Excellencies.
