Today, Monday evening, the Culture and Arts Association in Abha will launch its Ramadan activities with a package of exhibitions, workshops, theatrical performances and evenings, as part of the Ajaweed initiative in the path of awareness, as it will continue until the 25th of Ramadan.

The first activities will start with the celebration of World Theater Day 2023 over the course of three days, in partnership with King Khalid University and the General Administration of Education in Asir Region, with the “Sira” theater exhibition and a theatrical symposium on the second day of the celebration, in addition to two theatrical performances, the first is a hymn play and the second is puppet play.

The director of the association, Ahmed Al-Sarwi, confirmed to “Okaz” that the association aims, in these events, to identify with the Ajaweed Ramadan initiative launched by the Asir Region Development Authority, and to present various nights of theatrical performances, evenings, exhibitions, workshops, and seminars that will continue until the 25th of Ramadan, and are distributed over three weeks, starting with theatre, In the second week, the Ramadan Nights for Photographers will be in its seventh edition, and the third week will be devoted to plastic art. The activities of Abha culture and arts will conclude with a cultural evening entitled “The Biography and the March”, in which a group of pioneers will participate.

Al-Sarwi added that these events work to motivate creative and talented people in all fields undertaken by the association, and provide educational and development platforms for exchanging experiences and developing and nurturing talent.
