The month of Ramadan, with its thirty days, its various manifestations, and its special rituals that have not disappeared despite all the changes around it; Our souls are adorned with fasting, remembrance and obedience to the Most Merciful, our homes with the most beautiful and delicious dishes, our old streets with children’s stories and their jumping, with the rioting of street vendors and crowds that we enjoy more than any other crowd .. It is the month of goodness and blessing everywhere and in everything.
In small villages and old neighborhoods, there is a pleasure for this month that is not found anywhere else. You feel that Ramadan is not only the return of people to their Lord, but the return of people to people, the return of adults to childhood, is the return of life to life.
Neighborhoods and mosques are decorated with Ramadan lanterns, and the streets are full of adults and children practicing their various hobbies. This old man walks and jogs with his friends, these children play football, young people jump on the volleyball court that they made with their hands, and women and neighbors exchange visits and relieve the fatigue of cooking and eating with gifts of dates and meat. Made by their own hands, vendors spread their Ramadan rugs with Ramadan food and drinks, housewives cooperate in setting up an Iftar for fasting people in the streets of the neighborhood, and men and children cooperate in supplying travel for every fasting person to break their fast on the road, so that the meanings of intimacy and love between all human beings are manifested in this work.. a month Familiarity, tolerance and affection in many manifestations are raced by people, relatives and neighbors.
Ramadan is between 11 months, like Joseph among 11 stars, so do not kill him, do not throw him in the pit, and do not sell him for a cheap price, but honor his resting place, live his moments with love, and fast during it from speaking and harm before drinking and eating.
