The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s office has concluded the examination and affirm the identification of the 56 year old male found in Washington on August 31st, 2020, near the 400 block of Smith Island Road in Everett. The deceased is James R. Scannell of Everett, Washington.
The cause of death is gunshot wound, the manner of death is Homicide.
Everett Police reported that there are no new information to reveal about a fatal shooting that occurred at Langus River Park.
