Karel Knesl Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Karel Knesl.

Karel Knesl silver medalist from the Tokyo Olympics died 1964

Sad news came from FK Dukla Praha. On Thursday, September 3., 2020, former football player Dukla Praha and silver medalist from the Tokyo Olympics Mr. Knesl died after a longer illness.
He was 78 years old.
He ′′ enlisted ′′ in Dukla in 1962 and spent four years in which Dukla was one of the top of Czechoslovakia, receiving one title after another. Dukla won 3 x championship title (1962/63, 1963/64 and 1965/66) and in 1965 also the Czechoslovak Cup, in the seasons 1962/63 and 1963/64 he won the American victory with the A-team US cup.
His greatest representation is the silver medal from the Tokyo Olympic Games 1964, where Czechoslovak footballers succumbed to Hungary 1:2. in the fight for gold.
In 1965, he and the goalie Kouba left Dukla, which caused bad blood not only at club management. Slavia Praha became his new location. One of the reasons was the chance to get the apartment Charles needed so much for his family. However, he remembered the work in Dukla very much, especially the coach Musil, whom he cherished immensely.

Time healed all the wounds, so after Dukla’s return to ′′ pro football ′′ we saw Karel Knesl among ′′ his ′′ and celebrating the 60. th anniversary of the founding of Dukla, the director of ASC DUKLA was decorated with a commemorative medal.
Mass exodus at LNP headquarters two months out from Queensland election.

In what is being seen as a play for power by the religious elements of the Queensland LNP , there has been a mass exodus occurring at the headquarters of Queensland’s Liberal National Party, just two months out from the state election.

Party treasurer Stuart Fraser and Young LNP president Nelson Savanh both resigned from the state executive this week.

Their departures came just weeks after party president David Hutchinson resigned from the top spot. Former president Gary Spence was moved out of his position as immediate past president and official Malcolm Cole quit the party executive.

The father of Queensland’s LNP, Lawrence Springborg, was cut from the 33-member leadership team in July.

Cracks began to develop after an attempted coup against Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington from within her own party in June.

Former president David Hutchinson faced weeks of mounting pressure to resign after he was linked to the leadership plot. He stepped down in August.

Mr Hutchinson was replaced by Cynthia Hardy, the first woman to hold the top job within the party.

However, LNP sources say Cynthia Hardy is seen as largely ineffective .

The LNP has now lost six of its highest ranking members from the executive in the past few weeks, not including Dominic Condon who passed away last week.

Stuart Fraser, who has managed the party’s finances across four election campaigns, quit the party executive on Friday, refusing to comment on his sudden departure.

In a letter to LNP members, Ms Hardy said she had the “upmost respect for Stuart and have worked closely with him over five years”.

“As a member of the president’s committee, Stuart offered sound political advice, in addition to managing the financial affairs of the party,” she wrote.

“Whilst I am saddened to see Stuart leave, I understand entirely his need to focus on his business commitments and young family, particularly during these unsettling economic times.”

Brisbane Times can reveal Mr Savanh, who led the youth wing of the party, also quit on Sunday.

Mr Savanh, who had been a staunch supporter of Ms Frecklington during the internal feuding earlier this year, would not comment on his departure.

In a letter to Young LNP members, Mr Savanh said it had been an “honour” to serve as president for the past 14 months.

“However it is time for me to turn my full attention to my professional responsibilities and opportunities and step down as president to support a renewed YLNP executive team to take us to the state election and into 2021,” he wrote.

“This isn’t goodbye, just a change. I’ll still be joining you on the campaign trail.”
