Whilst it isn’t much, if you ever read our paper and had his words positively affect you, his family would appreciate any kindness shown to help remember him the way he deserved to be remembered.
I’m devastated to share that one of my closest friends and wisest confidants, Colin Blakely, died suddenly last night of a heart attack at his second home in France.
As many will know, Colin was the Editor of the Church of England Newspaper and co-founder of Via Media news, he was also Secretary to my Foundation. He was one of my oldest and dearest friends and I shall miss him very very much. Please pray for his wife, Libby, and for Naomi and Mikey as they come to terms with this horrific news.
We are still working on getting more details about the death, as a family statement on the death is yet to be released.
