Man Found Dead And Suspect Arrested – Police officers reported that a 48 year old man found dead in his apartment last Thursday was killed five days before his body was discovered.
The suspects identified as Michael Bradley Small and Scott Richard Gordon, both aged 33, are in police custody and have been charged with murder.
This morning, both suspect appeared individually via video link to the Brisbane Magistrate Court this morning.
According to the Deputy Chief Magistrate Janelle Brassington, it was reported that the pair murdered the 48 year old man on Sunday, five days before his body was discovered in the Waverley Street home in Taringa.
Police responded to a call to a Waverley Road address at about 3 p.m on September 3 2020 where the body was discovered.
A crime scene was launched at the residence, Indooroopilly detectives assisted by Crime and Intelligence Command’s Homicide Investigation Unit are currently investigating the suspicious death.
