Marjorie Grayson Death – On Thursday, September 2020, 85 year old Marjorie Grayson was found dead at her house on Orgreave Lane, Handsworth after emergency service received a call to the home.

She had been allowed to return to the home she had shared with her husband of almost 60 years, Alan, after she was sentenced for killing him.

Following report, the deceased appeared at Sheffield Crown Court in June 2019 over the death of her husband , who she had stabbed to death in the cause of a trivial dispute.

It happened that Mrs Grayson was suffering from a condition known as behavioural variant-frontotemporal dementia at the time and the couple had been ‘joyfully married’.

She was sentenced to a hospital order under the Mental Health Act, and was treated at a specialist facility until she was confirmed well enough to be discharged and cared for in the community.
