P.O.P was saddened to hear yesterday of the death of James McPeake from Maghera. We had a photo up earlier this year for James when he celebrated his 97th birthday. James would have been seen down around Ballynease and Clady with his late brother Joey and when the two got together they talked, from the price of cattle to family and it always was a good bit of craic.
I would like to pass on my sincere sympathies to his sons James, Gerard, Joe, Brendan, Sean, Patrick, Peter, Colm, Eugene, daughters Roisin (O’Kane), Marie (O’Kane), Susan(O’Kane), Teresa (Toner), Rita (O’Kane), Martina (McGillian) Una (McCullagh) Sharon (McCann), Claire (Lavery), Christine, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and to the entire McPeake family at this sad time. In remembering James I also remember his late wife Susan and late siblings Mary-Ann (O’Neill) John, Hugh, Paddy and Joey.
