Interested and researcher in history, Ali Radhi Al-Sharif, demanded the establishment of an office for the Tourism and National Heritage Authority in Al-Mahd Governorate, which includes experts, specialists, and materials to clarify the ancient texts that are widely spread in the antiquities of the region.

Al-Sharif’s claim came through “Okaz” standing on the ancient historical village of Al-Suwairqiyyah, as he explained that it dates back to the pre-Islamic era, and it used to embrace a large market frequented by merchants every Thursday of every week, and now nothing remains of it except for its name, which is a very old heritage neighborhood, and it is now known It is called the "market", and it has some distinctive traces of writings on stones, palaces and ancient castles.

On her tour with Al-Sharif, “Okaz” was briefed on the inscriptions and drawings on stones and mountains, Islamic inscriptions, and the names of some people, explaining, “We noticed that the name of one of the descendants of Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awam, may God be pleased with him, was repeated in several places, and some of the antiquities disappeared, and some of them were affected by change with the renaissance and building. While some of them still exist, preserving evidence of their antiquity and history.

And "Okaz" stood on one of the ancient wells dating back hundreds of years, as some sources mentioned that Al-Suwairqiyya includes more than 400 wells, while Al-Sharif reviewed with "Okaz" one of the stones inscribed with a framed text in which the Basmala (In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) is clearly visible, expressing He hoped to create an office for the Tourism and National Heritage Authority in Al-Mahd Governorate, in which there would be experts, specialists, and materials to clarify the ancient texts that are widely spread in the region.

Al-Sharif resented what he called “absurdity” in the antiquities located in the village of As-Suwairqiyyah, which is considered the second historical place in the Al-Mahd governorate after Safina, as it dates back to the pre-Islamic era and contains antiquities decorated with inscriptions, rock drawings and Islamic writings at the beginning of the Islamic era that were written without dots on the letters. Historical ancient civilizations rolled on it.
