Bioware Studio announced its intention to redesign Anthem and make many radical changes in its content, in an attempt to save what can be saved, after the frustrating performance of the game, and the players' negative responses to it. As the game suffered from poor content and support during the last period, to the extent that the current game “theme” is still about the last holiday season and has not been updated yet, and some players likened it to having become a “ghost town”, and this caused many players to flee from it.
Although the game presented new ideas and an exciting world, that was not enough, as the studio announced that they would not only provide new content and seasons, but would work to redesign the game from its roots, whether at the level of awards, challenges, and tasks. They will also work on building a long-term plan for the game that includes technical support and additional content that extends the life of the game.
