Keith Vanover Death – Cause of Death : 55-year-old Keith Vanover, of Parma, has been identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner as the passenger that lost his life following a plane crash that happened near Pittsburgh. The crash occurred on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in Pine Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Vanover was pronounced dead at the hospital on Saturday morning, November 27. He died of thermal burns and inhalation injuries due received from the plane crash.

According to report, 65-year-old Richard Briggs, of Cuyahoga Falls was piloting a single-engine Cessna 210 with Vanover as a passenger when the plane allegedly began experiencing significant mechanical problems and crashed into a wooded area near Tri-County Industries in Pine Township and burst into flames. Prior to the crash, Briggs made effort to land safely, but all efforts proved abortive.

Briggs was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while Vanover was transported with severe burns and crash-related injuries to Youngstown hospital but was later transferred to Pittsburgh hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on November 27. 

Briggs was the founder/president of SeniorTV.

Investigation into the cause of the plane crash is ongoing by the Federal Aviation Administration.
