The Pentagon has begun investigating why Boeing employees worked on Air Force One without the special security credentials granted to workers on official aircraft in the United States.
And the “Wall Street Journal” quoted informed sources as saying that the credentials of security employees at Boeing had expired in some cases months or years ago, and in at least one case about seven years ago.
She added that the expired security credentials include about 250 Boeing employees.
Boeing declined to say how many employees work on Air Force One.
The term "Air Force One" is used to refer to two different presidential planes.
