An early Monday shooting in District Heights left a woman shooting in woman has died from injuries sustained during a shooting in Distict Heirghts Monday morning.

Prince George’s County Police said the shooting happened around 7:45 a.m. in the 2100 block of County Road. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries, where she later died.

Investigators are still working to figure out exactly what happened. No arrests have been made in this case, and there’s no known motive or lookout for a shooter, according to police.
