Al-Iskan neighborhood in Al-Qunfudhah is a model project that highlights the efforts of the state that seeks the comfort of citizens, but there are some claims that have not been implemented. According to Ibrahim Muhammad, the communication network in the project is bad, and subscribers pay high bills without service. One of the problems in the project is the only source of water is tanks, as the water network does not work, knowing that it is equipped and there are water meters.
And Muhammad Abdullah adds that the main entrance to the housing witnesses many accidents, and it is hoped that an entrance will be set up with a traffic signal, and that the sub-road parallel to the international road needs asphalting, and some residents of the neighborhood, when they want to go north to Al-Qunfudah Governorate via the international road, take the sub-road for a distance of 500 meters and return with the entrance Housing, and there is no recreational facility in the neighborhood.
As for Ibrahim Muhammad, he said that he obtained a ready-made housing unit from the projects of the Ministry of Housing by installment system and did not obtain the deed for the unit. It is practiced that the deed be mortgaged to the bank in the name of the customer until the end of the applicable payment period, and during 4 years he remained in claims and reviews of the concerned authorities and until the moment he did not No action is done.
Residents are calling for a specialized committee to find out the housing situation in the files of water, communications, municipality and roads.
