Amber Alert Deactivated after Albuquerque boy was found in Texas.
Report reaching us states that the amber alert issued by the New Mexico State Police for a 10-year-old boy has been canceled, the police said Nicolai Kuznetsov was found safe in Texas. and his mother Jacqueline Haymon, has been taken into custody by the Potter County Sheriff’s Office.
Earlier on Thursday November 5, the New Mexico State Police phones sounded with an Amber Alert for a missing child, who is believed to be in danger. Authorities state that he was believed to be with his mother, Jaqueline Haymon.
According to NMSP, on Nov. 18, 2021, a district court judge in Albuquerque issued an emergency custody order that granted Nicolai’s biological father custody due to “grave concern of the well-being and safety of the child.” There was also a bench warrant issued for Jaqueline Haymon’s arrest.
According to a court documents, a judge ordered Jacqueline three times to say where Nicolai was located but she refused. The documents say leading up to the custody hearing, she sent up to 70 letters which they describe as gibberish to the court and didn’t show up when asked. Jacqueline has a past domestic violence case where she’s accused of leaving Nicolai out in the cold and biting his shoulder hard enough to leave a bruise. On Thursday, Nicolai’s father was granted temporary sole legal and physical custody.
A court record said, Jacqueline pulled her son from school early on November 5, 2021. and didn’t text the boy’s father until November 8 saying because of a vaccine mandate at the school, their son would be staying with her and would be homeschooled. Since then, the two hadn’t been heard from until their car showed up on law enforcement plate readers near Amarillo, Texas.
NMSP says the pair were believed to be driving in a grey Honda Civic with a New Mexico black Chile license plate that reads AMAP53. On Thursday night 10-year-old Nicolai Kuznetsov was located and is safe now.
