Annette Watford missing – Death: (Watford Observer) Body of woman missing from Watford on Tuesday found in Grand Union Canal.
WATFORD, England – A Watford woman who was reported missing on Tuesday, 16th of November has now been found dead after missing for days. The woman’s identity was given as 54-year-old Annette and she was last seen in the early hours leaving her home at about 9:30 am and headed to an unknown destination. Her family made attempts to reach her when she did not come back home but it was unsuccessful.
The police carried out searches for Annette after she was reported missing. Areas nearby the areas where she was seen last were searched but she remained missing. The Watford Police also appealed to the public to help in finding her.
Annette description:
The 54-year-old was described as a White female who was approximately 5’6″ feet tall and is of a medium build. She has shoulder-length straight brown hair and brown eyes.
Annette’s last known clothing was given as red trousers, walking shoes, and had a chrome/silver-colored water bottle with her.
Annette death:
A press release by the police has now confirmed that Annette has been found dead. Her body was reportedly found lifeless in the late hours of Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 at the Grand Union Canal, Watford.
The spokesperson for the police said “A body has been recovered in the search for missing 54-year-old Annette from Watford. The sad discovery was made at the Grand Union Canal, Watford, at around 11.30 pm last night (Wednesday 17 November). Though the body is yet to be formally identified, Annette’s family have been made aware. The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
The family of Annette are devastated about the news and are requesting privacy to grieve their dead. Her sister-in-law said “It is with the deepest sadness to let you know that the police found Annette’s body last night. There are no suspicious circumstances. We are devastated. Thank you for your words of support and actions of kindness over the last few days.”
Investigation into the cause of death of Annette is ongoing. The obituary of Annette will be released by her family.
