19-year-old Autum Frank was crossing the street Sunday when she was hit by a red SUV. The driver, later identified as Kenneth Carter, fled the scene right after.
Autum Frank,19, of Fresno, and her unborn baby, died Sunday night by a hit-and-run driver as she crossed Swift Avenue in a crosswalk in northwest Fresno.
The Fresno County Sheriff Coroner identified Frank as the victim who died.
The young woman was walking with family and friends near Marks Avenue about 10:30 p.m. when an SUV driven by Kenneth Carter, 32, struck her as she tried to get out of the roadway.
