Lovely tribute to a genuine Canadian! I remember playing with his daighter Maggie at their summer cottage brought by our joint friendship with Mr. Mesenel. The whole family was natural and friendly. We have lost an icon not only in politics but in our nation. Our thoughts and prayers to his wife Kathleen and five children and grand children, family and friends. What a magnificent legacy he has left to them and all! He will most certainly be missed.
