So saddened about this news on Bob Bonn. Bob was an amazing athletic director , mentor and friend. I knew Carthage was a special place because of what Bobs vision was. He spent the time and develop meaningful relationships with student athletes, he made Carthage Athletics a school that stood out above the rest and he appreciated, challenged and cared so much about his coaches. He truly was invested in our lives and families and we felt it. He was a class act and someone we will never forget for many reasons. The memories, funny stories, ideas and what you did for Carthage Athletics will never be forgotten. Bob, Michele and your family will always be in our hearts
Bob wouldn’t remember meeting me, but I was impressed with him as anyone in the conference. Rest In Peace Mr. Bonn. So much love to the Carthage & Bonn family.

Dr. Bonn gave me my first job as a Certified Athletic Trainer as a Grad Asst for Carthage in 1994. That experience single handedly gave me my start to where I am today. What I can say, is that in my short time knowing him, he was an amazing boss, mentor, and person!!God bless
