I just found out that famed paleoartist Brian Franczak had passed away only a few weeks ago.
His work has been a huge source of inspiration to me and many others. May he be remembered and celebrated as one of the greatest illustrators who ever lived.

Brian Franczak’s work was a big part of what got me into palaeo as a small child and did a lot to define what dinosaurs were “supposed to” look like, as real animals living in real environments. The world is much poorer for his passing.
