ALPHARETTA, GA., – Alpharetta police arrested 17-year-old Cameron Walker and 18-year-old Jonathan Murray shortly after the conclusion of Milton High School’s season opener game for robbery and murder in the death of 24-year-old Connor Mediate from Alpharetta.

On Thursday, October 14, 2021, 24-year-old Connor Mediate of Alpharetta, Georgia was shot and killed at the Collingwood Apartment Homes on Kimball Bridge. Mediate was shot multiple times in the parking lot of the community. Walker and Murray, both varsity basketball players at Milton High School, are being held in the Fulton County Jail following a month-long investigation into Mediate’s murder.

They are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday at 11 a.m. The case is still being investigated, and the Alpharetta Police Department asks that anyone with information call the department’s tip line at 678-297-6307.
