Cassidy Rainwater missing – Missing Missouri woman tortured, murdered, and dismembered by suspects Timothy Norton and James Phelps.
MISSOURI, US State – Recently, two men are now been charged with the murder of a missing Missouri woman, Cassidy Rainwater, 33 y/o who disappeared from Dallas County on the 25th of August 2021. According to a report gathered, Cassidy was last seen in the company of James Rainwater who was later found out to be James Phelps.
After the disappearanec of Cassidy, the Dallas County Detective along with the FBI who is now in charge of the case began an investigation into her disappearance. It was found out that Cassidy was leaving with Phelps who initially denied having recent contact with her before her disappearance.
Information gathered stated that on the 16th of September 2021, a couple of photographs were sent to the FBI which showed a lady that the FBI believed to be Cassidy in a cage. Accoridng to the statement by the FBI, the lady was almost naked and bound to a gantry crane. This became very worrisome and the police started looking more into her disappearance.
This prompted another search of Phelps property by the Dallas County Detectives. This time, a thorough search of the property turned up some items that were found in the picture that was sent to the FBI.
Cassidy Rainwater death:
The detectives also found skeletal remains in a property close to Phelps’s which they believe belongs to the 33-year-old Cassidy. The remains which were found in a freezer according to information released by the police were taken to the office of the Medical Examiner Office for further evaluation.
The Medical Examiner Office formally identified the remains as that of the missing Missouri woman, Cassidy Rainwater. Her cause of death was given as homicide by torture and dismembering the body.
A Facebook post by KOLR10 reads “The latest court documents made public in Cassidy Rainwater’s disappearance and death claim her alleged killers, James Phelps and Timothy Norton, had planned her murder for the night of July 24th, 2021.”
Timothy Norton and James Phelps:
Two men have now been charged with the murder of Cassidy. The identity of the men was given as Timothy Norton, who is said to be a trucker and had been living on Phelps’ property. The second charge is for James Phelps who is being charged for first-degree murder.
