Cleo Sloan Death – Cause of Death : 77-year-old Cleo Sloan, of Rocky Mount has lost his life in a single-car accident that happened immediately after midnight on Thursday on Virgil H Goode Highway, north of Doe Run Road in Franklin County, Virginia.
According to officials, the incident happened when Sloan who was driving a 2003 GMC Sonoma northbound on Route 220, left the roadway and struck a guardrail. Sloan who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
