Ken Boyer: All-Star, MVP, Captain
Ken’s oldest brother Cloyd Boyer passed away yesterday. He was kind enough to spend a day with me driving through Jasper County, pointing out his childhood homes, schools, where he and his brothers played ball, and memories of their childhood. The book wouldn’t have so many wonderful stories and insights without him. I’ll always be grateful for his kindness. Prayers for the Boyer family at this time.
