I am deeply saddened to report the LODD of E92B LT/PM Cody Traber. Cody was operating at the scene of a reported brush fire on August 26 at approximately 2200 hours when he was fatally wounded. This a very difficult time for the Traber family and our Fire 9 Family. Cody was an 18 year veteran of the District and previously served at Stevens County Fire District #1, Cheney Fire Department and the Department of Natural Resources Arcadia District. Cody leaves behind his wife, Allisyn and four young children. Please keep Cody and his family in your thoughts as we all navigate through this difficult time. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
