Curt Woodin I’m going to miss ya man!!! You were a great friend and wonderful Dad! Much love to your family as they navigate this world without your kind heart and smile!
My Freshman Year (‘99) at WSC, the women’s team dwindled down to below 10 practice players. Woody was a part of the Wednesday guy crew who would come and practice against us. I ❤️d but hated playing against Curt. He would never back down but blessed he made us better each practice.
I was fortunate enough to randomly walk by him one night shortly after he moved to Omaha to be close to Mads. We realized we were practically neighbors and began a great friendship. When I moved to Gretna, I asked my friend if he had a set of allen wrenches that I could use. My luck, he had some. He proceeded to drive them over to me but not before Mads had to teach her dad what they were and that Grandma had bought him some. 🙂I will forever think of you my friend when I see allen wrenches. #RIPWoody
Curt was such a kind, genuine and caring friend and father. He had such a positive impact on everyone he met and will be greatly missed by our Premier Family. Our thoughts are with Madi, the Woodin family and so many that had the opportunity know Curt. #RIPWoody

So saddened to hear this news. Curt was quick to strike up a conversation, share a joke or offer congrats (even if the Dragons were fortunate enough to get a W against Madi’s Storm) A tremendous #GirlDad & person. Gonna miss him. Our thoughts are with the Woodin & Storm families.

For those who knew Curt Woodin, here is the information about his services:Wednesday from 4-6pm at Relevant Community Church, 21220 Elkhorn Drive in Elkhorn, Nebraska 68022 followed by a service at 6:00pm.
If you knew him, you knew that his daughter, Madi, was his whole entire world. You also know he had big passion for his whole family and his many close friends. You also know he was super competitive yet super supportive. Curt was constantly complimenting our daughter, our family, other kids, his friends, etc. when they had success. He now has the best seat in the house to watch Madi continue to flourish. Thank you for being an amazing friend to all of us and God bless you for being a fantastic dad. We will all miss you, Curt! Rest In Peace, my friend.
And you were right…the 30 for 30 about Lance Armstrong confirmed exactly what I have always thought of him
