Tributes To Dick Lamm

Our thoughts are with former First Lady Dottie Lamm and the entire Lamm family after learning of the passing of Former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm. Governor Lamm served Colorado in so many capacities and was always willing to join in and support Westbrooke Group’s bipartisan events such as the Governor’s Preservation Fund receptions and Colorado Politics events. RIP Governor and thank you for your dedication to our great state.

So sorry to learn of the passing of former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm. A very good man. While I would not be so presumptuous as to infer we were best of pals, I was fortunate to have had several good conversations with him over the years in my role as a journalist and later on Council, and always enjoyed the time and valued his perspective. This picture was taken a few years back when I put forth a proclamation honoring Harry Tuft, former owner of Denver Folklore Center. With the loss of Governor Dick Lamm yesterday, I thought it would be particularly appropriate to pay homage to the extraordinary life of service he dedicated to the betterment of all Coloradans.
